It has been a long week at the culmination of a long month. I've worked my butt off, and seen some real progress start to happen at work. It's so much less stressful being the person who is in charge, even when it looked as if we were going to come in under budget this month. This past week our team has pulled itself together and brought in some amazing results.

I'm still going to apply to grad school over the summer for next January. If I am still loving my job by then, I can always defer until the following fall. What is my proposed area of study, you may well ask. Well, some of you may recall from my March 22nd post that I am into "demographics and the effects of demographics on economic factors. Economic development, business development and marketing applications of demographics..." So, I am applying to.... The SOCIOLOGY Graduate program at UMD. I had NO IDEA how cool sociology could be!!! In the Masters program there's an area of concentration in Demography as well as one in Political Economy with a specialization in Economic Development. 2 semesters of Statistics are REQUIRED *hugs self in glee*
