Wow...taxonomy. Whenever I see that list of classification, I still recall the "King Philip Chased Old Fat George Smith" sentence my teachers etched into my memory.

Wow. That's interesting :P
I always think:

Kingdom (animal Kingdom..easy to remember)
Phylus and Division I just memorize
Class - Top, because in England, class was a big thing xP
Order - keep your class in order!
Family - order around your siblings. LOL! I just remember it easy that way.
Genus - Genetics. Families pass on Genetics.
Species - last in line :)
