Wonderfully written. I love this look inside Peter's head as he yearns for his past and trying to figure out exactly what he's meant to do here, in our world instead of Narnia.

Peter's dream is an interesting one. To me, it hints also of Susan being left behind when the train crash occurs.

There is a terrific sense of the time and place in this fic. I love the use of the Brain Line and the passing lorries and the long delays. Mrs. Pryce is a terrific OC -- I love how she rattles on and Peter's poor, weary reflections about how he learns EVER SO MUCH about her. Susan's line, that Peter is choosing to live in this world by killing in it is just terrific. Also, it is so wonderful that Peter looks for Susan, that he knows she is coming, and it's only a matter of time before she joins them. I so loved that. The dream is so wonderful.

This is a lovely story and a beautifully fulfilled prompt.

Yay, thank you, anon, for a wonderful fill of my prompt :D

I loved the look into Peter's head, how desperate he still is to do right by Aslan but without any idea how to. The little touch of Susan in the dream was lovely--she's coming after them, but her route may take a little longer before she gets there too.

The extra little details of the Varsity Line and Mrs Bryce rambling on about her family really made it shine and the whole thing felt wonderfully canon.

Exactly what I was hoping for! ILU so hard.
