Madness Round Info
Hey folks! I know you're hard at work on your Madness Stories, but I just wanted to give a few guidelines, since I know some people had questions.
1) You are uploading the story yourself to the AO3. If you do not have an AO3 account, let me know, and I will give you a code to create one. If you have never uploaded a story to a collection before, here is a tutorial that should be helpful.
2) You do not have to use the header that we used for the NFE stories here on LJ. Use the warnings on AO3 if necessary, and any additional tags that you think are appropriate (such as fandom, characters, and other freeform tags like "angst" or "fluff").
3) Please keep the prompt you are writing for attached to the story. You can post it in the Notes - I suggest at the end of the story, but if you prefer the beginning, that is fine too. No need to keep the "What I definitely don't want in my fic" section.
4) You can upload your finished stories any time before October 9th. October 9th is when the collection will open for reading/reviewing. If I've done everything right, the stories will not be available to read until Oct 9th. Let's hope! ;)
5) If you have an AO3 account, please reply to this comment to let the people writing for you know your AO3 name, so they can gift the fic to you.
6) Writers, if you have written a fic for someone who does not have an AO3 account, you can still upload it to the collection and gift it to Nfe_gremlin, and put in the notes who it is actually a gift for.
