And yes, in this verse Eustace and Jill got married in Narnia. I've been having fun playing around with the idea in a bunch of half-finished one-shots. It would be such an awkward situation to return to England after that - bad enough to be stuck in children's bodies, right?

Like Liz says, I love the way Eustace describes the thoughts going round in his head.

And yes, this was how I managed to get Jay off my tail about the whole Operation Mongoose thing. :P

WE NEED THIS OUTTAKE (PS, I'll review the rest tonight. I loved this story to bits! It is so much fun and you write Jill and Eustace so well!)

And thank you so much! I had so much fun writing it (I mean, pain and tears and stress etc as well, but the fun's the important part) so it's so gratifying to hear that you're enjoying it. Thank you!

And Eustace seems rather defensive in his note to Lucy. I would expect it if the letter went to Edmund, but I think Lucy would be ah... more open about things and not presume too much. :-)

And as I mentioned above in the reply to rth, the note to Lucy really seems to be a case of "the lady doth protest too much." I agree with you that Lucy would probably be more open about it, but in this case I think it's more a matter of who's sending the letter/writing the note as opposed to who's receiving it. :)

BUT, I will settle for a verse of two of the Ballad of the Red Leather Trousers instead.
