"The Silent Snake Inn" sounds pretty creepy just from its name alone. And after all the trouble Eustace and Jill had with a green serpent, it would likely bring up some very unpleasant memories. And I'm now very curious to see how big a role these red leather trousers will play in the story.

The introduction of the red leather trousers! It's probably my favourite accidental-addition-to-the-plot out of this entire story (and there are actually a lot of them).

And the trousers, of course. Red leather, at that. Beats any artwork or furniture. Buck up, indeed, Eustace! LOL.
