Need faux sunlight; need advice.

My mother told me at the end of December that she would transfer some Chanukah gelt into my bank account in mid-January as my holiday gift from herself and my father. Knowing that she hadn't done it yet, and the results of my three-week light experiment in London and Glasgow (stayed at two people's homes that had them and it does make a huge difference, particularly being back where it is darker and the weather is more inclement), I asked her for something else on the phone tonight. Not something I solely want, as I usually do with presents from my parents, but something I need and want.

I've asked them to buy me a lightbox and a few natural light bulbs. The lightbox will go on or near my computer desk and the lightbulbs will go into the socket over my bed; I'll be able to wake quickly after six to eight hours of sleep without being groggy and then get enough light during the day to concentrate and to stay in the mood to which I've become accustomed. It'll probably sort out other health problems that are likely to be related to my lack of sunlight as well.

Here's the portion of my post where I ask for advice. What is a good quality, reasonably-priced lightbox and the same for lightbulbs? From where can they be ordered? The lightbulbs should be simple, but I'm not sure what type of lightbox to get -- one that can stand on its own on the carpet or between the supports on the wall thing in the loft seems best, but I'm not fully aware of the options either. They have to be able to be purchased online or over the phone using an overseas credit card.

P.S. Why am I not sleeping yet? Oh, right -- I don't have a lightbox and the combination of LJ and singing/dancing only goes so far. Hope I can still get up on time for my grocery delivery.
P.P.S. I failed to resize and send pictures that I received via email to a certain person tonight. For some reason the pictures didn't look right so I'm going to try again when I have my full faculties. I absolutely promise to do it when I get up, as I know you probably want to see them as much as I did. Much apologies!
