No, sadly not the time of year when I start posting more than fluff again. It's the People for the American Way (PFAW) auction!
Particular items of interest to some of you might be a limited edition signed lithograph from J.G. Thirwell, a guitar smashed and signed by Trent Reznor, or a signed book by Molly Ivins. If I had a few thousand dollars I'd be bidding on the Air America Radio discussion with Janeanne Garofalo, even though I probably wouldn't be able to speak in the presence of my favourite commedienne since I was a kid; I'd be bidding on the titled, dated, and signed limited edition photograph by Richard Misrach as well, and an informal discussion about a script after lunch and a walk on the beach with Eric Roth would be pretty cool too.
