Captain Jack to reprise role in new series.
Torchwood (an anagram of Doctor Who) will be a thirteen-part series based in modern-day Cardiff Bay, written by the magnificent Russell T. Davies and shown on BBC3 post-watershed. It will air in summer 2006. Supposedly it will be The X-Files meets This Life; I am positively salivating at the thought. There will be sex (knowing Davies, bi-poly sex with a heavy dose of kink thrown in), there will be swearing, and I will be in a little puddle on the floor after every episode.
Between this and The Daily Show on More4, it does seem time to invest in a Freeview box.
