Missile cats and dinosocks!
So this has been my side project for a while:
My general goal was to get my shit together and put everything up on Etsy (sn: pillowcat) on the 1st of December but I have yet to do that since... I don't know why, but PayPal scares me- possibly since I just got myself one of those too (just for this purpose) and I don't quite understand how it works... But anyhow. I'll be selling these in the higher range I suppose, 30 bucks for one (since everything's hand sewn). I've also been (needlessly?) stressing about how I would present these- not only in summary form (people on Etsy seem to be fond of inventing stories and giving their plush items names) but image wise as well (which would've been impossible if not for Adam's camera yay). Been thinking about including little comics or at least some sort of illustrated tag to help, um, explain them since a friend of mine who I haven't explained them to thought they were kinda creepy, haha.

These are all made from socks, which will explain the sock-ish patterns; I have three argyle ones: this one, then a pink/red version and then a green/white one.
This one's not for sale since it has since been claimed, but there is another one with a darker navy blue with white stripes, or so I believe:
And then there's the pink with black dots above, with two more versions; green (black dots) and chocolate brown (black dots).
So this isn't a cat (obviously) but I've been working on these as well- Dinosocks! I'd be selling these for 40 or more since these take twice as long if not more to make than the cats. This was the only one I had for sale, but it's also been claimed so... sweet.
I'm a bit at a loss since I don't know how to approach things in a business way, but... We'll see how this goes. In other news, I'm thinking about ways on how to expand to making custom ones- like people send me socks and money haha and I'll make it and send it back.
Anyway, I'm pretty exhausted these days- I think since winter is like, slapping me in the face and it makes me want to hunker down into bed and not move. Ever. Except to sew :D
Maybe in a couple of days I'll post some potential tags/illustrations or something- oh god, that thought just made me really tired; I just wanna go take a nap.
