1). Tomorrow will be an absolute shitshow in the US Financial Markets.
2). I CAN'T FUCKING BELIEVE LEH IS FILING FOR BANKRUPTCY.
3). Holy shit, BOA just bought Merrill Lynch. Which means in the past 6 months, 3 huge investment banks (including Lehman) have gone down. Bear Stearns was bought by JPM. Merrill has been bought by Bank of America. Lehman is filing for bankruptcy.
4). In a matter of weeks I won't have a job. I'll have to start the search process all over like I'm right out of college. This all seems like a very VERY bad dream.
5). Our unemployment rate will go up so much after Lehman goes bankrupt and the massive layoffs at Merrill commence.
6). Anyone who says the US Financial System is fundamentally sound should be shot.
