*sighs* Bah

Well there's a number of games supposed to be coming out that I really want to play, but can't because:

A) I don't have the console system they come out on.
B) My computer doesn't meet the minimum requirements.
C) The game isn't actually out yet.
D) Some possible combination of the above.

List of games I'd like to play (and potentially reasons why) include:

World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King:
I've been looking forward to this since I heard about it. As some of you may know I rather like Necromancy and the Undead, and the possibilities the Death Knight class open up are very appealing to me. I really want to give these a try. It's just too bad it's not a right proper Necromancer class. Also since I already have a level 70 warlock and can never get into raids, until the expansion comes out I don't have much else to do.

Spore:
This game looks awesome... what more needs be said?

Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning:
I've been a long time Warhammer fan and I've been looking into all the things they've planned for this game. I really want to give it a try. I signed up for the Beta way back on December 5th but I've gotten no type of response... I don't know if Gmail's spam filter ate it or they just haven't approved yet. The beta center merely says "applied", not anything else. This wouldn't be my first beta and I intend to contribute. Of course my comp probably won't be able to run it either so that sucks but I still want to at least try!

Supreme Commander:
Had a chance to play this game on other comps and I love it. I love the sheer massive scale of it, and Spiderbots are just fun. Alas my comp is no where near the specs needed for it so I can't even play it despite owning a copy.

Super Smash Bros Brawl:
Looks fun, but I have no Wii, so I'm kinda boned there. =P

Eve-Online:
I've thought about renewing my account but ATM I don't think there's much point. Was never anyone on to play with so the only thing I ever did was spend hours mining Azure Plagioclase with my Covetor. The fact that losing ships in it is a rather painful experience on the virtual wallet also dissuades one from fighting, especially the solo operator (such as myself) who doesn't have the resources of a corporation or alliance to fall back on.

Horizons:
Hard to forget Horizons or leave it. Unfortunately it's game engine is an absolute disaster. Even though the graphics are really quite dated the engine is so bad on my system I only get maybe 3-5 frames per second across the globe.... makes playing it essentially impossible. The only place in WoW I get those kind of framerates are Shattrath City and Orgrimmar during times of either high server population or just server problems in general (in which case everyone is having problems).

So many things to play... too bad they're not options for me.
