Went to the park today for one of our random gatherings, to discover that Esther and Aimee had already arrived and claimed the swings! Damn you two - I can't fit on the baby ones! Also - shock horror! The Hollow Gay Tree has been surgically removed! A ring of sawdust is all that remains. Now we'll never have a dry albeit scabby place to play cards in if it rains!!
We went down to find a flattish place to play bowls! Woo! Go us - practising to be OAPs! when Vera joined us having got FULL MARKS in her driving test. See! Told you so, Vera! (pokes) Anyway, surprise surprise Vera turned out to be REALLY good at bowls, as did Michelle when she finally sauntered up! I think we should challenge the bowls-master Michaela to a game or three when he gets back from Portugal (damn him! I want beach!!) Anyway, after we'd been chilling out on the grass for a while these two women and their veritable canine army turned up - much to poor Easter's fright! She jumped so high when she saw a dog next to her it scared the shit out of me! And again with the whole 'there's a bug on your shoe' episode! thanks Esther! 'preciate it! (poke) Yeah, so one of the dogs thought it would be fun to take our ball bag in it's mouth (no comments please!) and actually take the piss by slowly walking around us and dodging our attempts to get it back! outsmarted by a dog! hmm! Damn dog!!!
Yeah, so then we went to eat in Sidcup Place - where we would still be now if we hadn't figured out the ordering system!! - and that was pretty nice considering the prices were so reasonable. We ball gamed outside again for a while, but darkness was about to fall and the pikeys were starting to appear so we made our way back. I got lost on the way home! Ended up at Chislehurst Station for 40 minutes waiting for a bus to try and get back to the Parade! that was embarrasing - maybe I'll pay more attention to where I am in future! luckily Mum picked me up at the war memorial, so all was good. But it was my last day! I'll be gone for two weeks being around the country visiting various people. But Aimee has promised a alcohol/scary-film-at-cinema session for when I return, so that will be looked forwards to! Hopefully the easily scared among us will turn up too! hehe!
