(no subject)
I tried to not use the laptop for a while, and it worked well at first. I know Dumbledore wanted to enrich our wizard lives with Muggle technology, but there didn't seem to be a lot of enrichment going on. Rather a lot of fighting and abuse of capital letters. I'm beginning to think perhaps these things are some kind of evil, or that they bring out the bad things in all of my classmates.
The first few weeks were okay, but recently there hasn't been anyone around to talk to. It's quite sad that I see students carrying their laptops into the toilet with them. I guess people will never realise that there are some things that don't need be said, and that talking just to fill space is rather pointless. But it seems if I want to interact at all with my fellow students that I have to use this thing. Perhaps I can find some good in it again. After all, it is the reason I'm friends with Pansy. Can't be all bad.
Other than watching everyone obsessively refreshing their screens, I've been studying very hard for my O.W.L.s. I've managed to keep up with my Potions book all term, however my Ancient Runes text seems to have run off. If you took it, I'd really like it back now. Nothing terribly interesting happening. I would apologise for the recent lack of insight into my life, but that seems like a pretty silly thing for one to apologise for.
I suppose I'll be seeing you all in class tomorrow.
