Happy New Year 2011!
I've decided that for this year, I would like to try the photo-a-day project again. This time, I want to give myself some leeway but try my best to take a picture I would like to share every day. I want to be able to focus on technique, composition, and subject with each shot.
I also would like to possibly cross-post these photos on Redbubble, or another site as well. Any suggestions from people about a good service for photo hosting, commercial or otherwise?

We have a dusting of snow still around our house, and I like the natural contrast of the mossy rock and the bright snow. I wanted to use a narrow a depth of field to emphasize the texture of the moss.
On the topic of the New Year and upcoming events, I figure we should announce that jade_rabbit and I are engaged, and will be getting married on June 26th. We are still working out a lot of the details but are immensely looking forward to it.
