Dad Update
Phoned Mum for an update this evening and was pleasantly surprised to be told that Dad was out of hospital and resting at home. Proceeded to chat with dad for a while and he seemed in generally good spirits.
Prognosis is positive and whilst he has to avoid physical exertion and go back for further tests in a month (probably a repeat of today's test which apparently involved riding an exercise bike for a while) he'll probably have a hard time not doing the various bits of DIY, car fixing and other stuff that normally keeps him busy (not mentioning the ongoing house renovation in Penne or the village music festival in July).
