Today I joined several hundred other people in singing
Handel's Hallelujah Chorus as part of a project called Oxford Sings, under the supervision of
Ivor Setterfield.Spent the morning in a workshop to brush up on the basics of he piece. Some present had never seen the piece before and there was a good atmosphere of learning and fun about the place

Went to my (very nice) GP this morning and was greeted with "you did the Hallelujah yesterday, didn't you? I hope you're not here with a sore throat". Apparently she was about 10 rows behind me and I blanked her at some point in the foyer. Oops. :-)

Sounds like you had a fun time too which is good. I knew all those years in the OUP basements singing whilst servers booted up was n't a waste; that one day, the Singing Sys Admin's Secret Talent would be discovered ;-)
