Day 26 -- OMG WTF? Season Finale
Well, OMG WTF? in a good way or a bad way? Because it can be both.
One that sticks out in a bad way is the series finale of Who's The Boss? It was just such a stupid, poor ending to a great show that, even at 10 years old, I knew I'd been gypped. Sometimes, bringing a show "full circle" isn't the way to end a show. Sometimes, a bit more resolution is needed. I mean, I don't know...maybe they didn't know until midway through the 8th season it would be their last so they had to throw together some sort of ending but it was a crap ending. I didn't feel like the characters had been resolved, and I knew these characters for as long as I could remember. So, yeah...even now, when I watch the series finale, I get kinda irritated about how it all went down.
So, a good one...Lois & Clark season 2. Hell yeah. My sister and I squeed over that one all summer. "Lois...will you marry me?" "Clark--" the end. It was enough to make my 13 year old brain nearly explode.
Season 4 of Friends; not because Ross said Rachel's name instead of Emily's at the altar, but because Chandler and Monica slept together and that was HUGE.
Season 7 of X-Files. Two words: "I'm pregant." Whiskey. Tango. Foxtrot. Yeah...that was what was up.
I'll give season 5 of Buffy an honorable mention. Honorable mention because I didn't have to wait a whole summer to find out what happened; I only had to wait about a day. Yeah, I didn't watch Buffy 'til it was off the air and on DVD, so I had no real suspense when it came to that show. But, if I had been watching it when it first aired, I would've OMG WTF'd.
