R.I.P. Spidermarriage

I have decided to quit collecting Amazing Spiderman because of executive decisions by Quesada, Marvel CEO. They decided that they wanted Spiderman to be back as a bachelor, so they wrote ONE MORE DAY, a four issue collection where Peter Parker and Mary Jane Parker-Watson have to decide if they will give up their marriage and their love, such that it never happened to save the life of Aunt May. They decide to do it.

Cut to an interview with Queseda, and he is asked, "Why not simply have them divorce?"
His answer, "Can you see that come over the AP wire that Spiderman got divorced from his wife, what message does that say to little kids?"

FUCKWIT!
TO PREVENT SPIDERMAN FROM HAVING A DIVORCE, YOU HAVE HIM MAKE A DEAL WITH THE DEVIL, WHAT KIND OF MESSAGE DOES THAT SAY TO LITTLE KIDS?

Oh, and to boot, they have used the full continuity rewrite to have spiderman never reveal his identity, to bring back Harry Osborne, also unmarried. One fan asked, "Did every marriage in the Marvel Universe get annulled?"
Marvel used to be the company that cared about continuity and about history. Things that happened in one comic had ramifications in other comics. Now they have thrown it away.
I can no longer collect Spiderman in any of its forms, and I am going to be rethinking every Marvel title.

QUESADA = FUCKWIT.
