Why do they make it such a difficult, secretive process to become a teacher? Why? I have already had to jump through 17 diffeeent hoops becasue I didn't go to "EDUCATION" school.
Ok, I'm better now I remebered something I read on an exit survey about pre-teaching advisement because of this rant. SO I now have a meeting at 2:00 to try and settle this all out. Insanity.
This is how it has gone so far
Lanier- Board Approved
Haralson- Not a word (whatever, I totally bombed that one anyway, with being late and I came off snobby)
Crisp- Dr. Overstreet likes me, but thay haven't talked about me yet
*Chattahoochee- still interested, wants my refrence forms for June 13th Meeting
Banks- wants an interview
Thomas-wants an interview
Turner-wants an interview
I'm avoiding Sumter like the plauge, same for Schley that are about to have a major blow-up over there reqarding their sudden influx of out of county students.
I have the Praxis II in three weeks, kinda worried about it, but only because it has Astronomy and Geology both of which I have not had since 8th grade. and they do not make any kinds of study guides for the content tests. Bitches....
Next year is going to be very busy no matter where I end up.
* Chattahoochee wants me to teach Middle/High School Science and Math and Technology...kinda a lot for a new teacher still in school.
