MEME DAY FRIDAY
So, to celebrate such gems I've run into today as:
'Insects have six legs. Is the tick on your slide an insect? No Explain. They look more like fishes but w no legs.
or the lab group that swears that most people push the elevator buttons with their eyebrows (I swear I am not making this up, but I feel like there needs to be a Darren Criss .gif to accompany this statement)
I am taking a break from grading to resurrect the mini DVD commentary meme.
And since I'm swiping this from the internet at large, I can make a few adjustments to it all my own. So!
Pick a paragraph or any passage less than 500 words from any fanfic I've written and comment to this post with that selection. I will then give you a DVD commentary on that snippet of what I was thinking when I made or wrote it, why I wrote it, what's going on in the character's heads, why I chose certain words, what this moment means in the context of the fic, and anything else you'd expect to find on a DVD commentary track.

Ask a question about any one element of one of my fics--a plot point, a character arc, the basic fic concept itself--and I will answer it, explaining exactly why I chose to use that element the way I did and how I tried to integrate it into the rest of the story.
