It's rather easy to achive that you can use some b/w gradients and set them to soft light... Thats how I do it...

I came in here because of the John Sheppard icons, but I love your Btvs icons so much. I snagged number 9 of Buffy and Giles. They were my absolute favorite characters on the that show. :)

I know that well. You go somewhere because you liked theirs (in this case) Sheppard icons, but then liked other icons of that post more :)
Ich really like the relationship of these characters, they are like daughter and father :)
