Alot of things on my mind.
I had the day off. So I had some time to think about things.
I went to see Chouji fight, of course. How many times do I have to tell you people, anybody, that calling him fat (or any variation) is taboo? I guess in this case it worked, because it ignited his fighting spirit, or whatever. Sadly, Chouji lost his battle. He's off eating his sorrow away, I think. Poor Chouji. I bet he's finding losing this tournament quite bothersome.
I found yet another note from my (less bothersome than Ino) secret admirer. I don't know what to do or how to feel... I mean I think girls are bothersome because of all the ones I've been around make me want to pull my hair out! (Try hanging around Ino most of your life, having birthday parties with her because she's born one day apart from you, being on the same team as her, having to listen to her rant about stupid Sasuke... it's bothersome!) But... I just... I don't think this secret admirer is Ino. Because the notes are too sophisticated for her to write, and besides, she doesn't like me anyway, because I'm lazy and boring. I think she only liked me as a brother type, and went after maybe some other guy in Konoha once the Sasuke events unfolded. I don't see Ino as anything more than a bothersome little sister.
My love note of the day read: "Dear Shika-chan, I'm sorry your friend lost his fight, he tried his best though. Your next match is coming up, I wish you lots of luck! Signed, Your Secret Admirer." It was on nice stationery with little deer on it (or something girly), the note was written in green shiny gel ink and it smelled very pretty, like those bothersome things that girls put in their drawers that make people sneeze. And also, this person must know more about me than I think they do... deer stationery in green?
Edit: And for comparison, I present to you... A love note, by Yamanaka Ino, to Uchiha Sasuke, written many months ago, and preserved by Nara Shikamaru, who thinks it's bothersome.
"Dearest Hottie Sasuke, I watched you training the other night and I think you're the prince of Konoha... Your hair shines more vibrantly than the ink on this piece of paper (what hair products do you use? I think I know people who could use that.). Your eyes are deeper than the ocean blue! Oh Sasuke, will you go out with me on a date? Love, your future wife, Yamanaka Ino."
Bothersome! No wonder Sasuke was willing to part with it. Shh, don't tell Ino I shared that with you. It's our little secret. And yes, it really said that.
