Bothersome Traveling.
Ah, so I, Nara Shikamaru, have arrived in the wonderful Hidden Sand.
The heat is bothersome. I can see how someone can break a sweat fighting here... there's not a tree in sight to hide in. I don't know how anyone does it, the heat is bothersome! And if there's no trees=no shadows?
Well, do you want to hear about the bothersome caravan voyage to Sunagakure? It was awful! Well, maybe I'm exaggerating. It wasn't all that fun. Chouji was happy that we were right behind the barbeque cart, which made me laugh to no end. That's Chouji, always thinking about food. It smelled rather good too...
Ino and Sakura were yapping about boys the whole time... I wanted to tie both their mouths shut. But it gets worse. Ino got sick of Sakura, and then turned to me. I scowled. I didn't want to talk with Ino! It's bothersome! All she does is rant about how the boys in Konoha are horrible! Uhm, hello, Yamanaka Ino, I'm one of those boys. But it's too bothersome for me to tell her no, there's probably millions of hot genins, she's just not looking. (Note I didn't say Chuunin, the last thing I want is Ino chasing me. I pity Sasuke, for all those years at the academy... must have been bothersome.) And then I had to stop her from making fun of Chouji, again. I thought I made "fat" a taboo word. Does it now mean that because I'm a Chuunin, everything I said as a Genin is voided? Well...
Fat is still taboo to Chouji. Do not call him that. It's offensive, and bothersome.
And more bothersome things... Naruto was yap yap yapping about how much he loved Sakura, even as Hinata pined next to him... I feel bad for Hinata. Now Naruto was bothersome too, between "Sakura-chan this" and "Ichiraku Ramen" that, he was ranting about some Ero-Sennin slacking off on his training!
Some other things... I wish I knew Neji's secrets to tuning the world out without headphones or earplugs. Neji, Lee, and Gai just sat in the back of the cart, legs crossed, tuned out to the world. (Well I don't think Lee had his legs crossed, he was just intensely tuning things out.)I want to know this secret. What were they doing? I don't think it's an Ancient Hyuuga Secret Branch House technique thing is it? (What a bothersome mouthful.)
Anyway, all Asuma did was sit and smoke and talk with Kurenai, who was upset that Shino and Kiba weren't invited. Chouji talked mostly with me, inbetween eating we played a game of travel-Go. And I let Chouji win. I was too lazy from all the travelling... it's not the end of the world if I lose.
Enough about the trip... we arrived to the dry heat in Sunagakure. Man, was it hot. I think something happened with my hair. Ah well, hair is bothersome. I'm excited about the tournament, partly because I don't have to fight a bunch of Genins again. It's people I've never met before... it's kinda... making me nervous. I hope I do well.
I heard Sunagakure is famous for it's baths. I'll have to check it out, if it's not too bothersome...
Oh, and yes, I did take quite a bit of Polaroids. It's not bothersome to sit lazily in a chair and snap pictures of everything around you. I'm writing with a marker some captions as I type this. I might take pics at the tournament, and of the baths (no, not naked people, just scenery stuff.).

Now... The opening ceremonies... were... less boring...
We went to our little section, and listened to a bunch of people talk, which was bothersome...
Until a girl, about my age, maybe older stepped up. She was wearing a pretty kimono with flowers all over it, and had sandy blond hair kinda in messy ponytails...
I had to snap a picture, she looked cool. She gave a really interesting speech and so on, but it's neat to see someone chosen around my age giving a speech. I do feel bad, it must have been bothersome for her to think of all that to say.
We then watched a demo match, it was a demo match, so that was bothersome. I want to wipe the floor with someone using my lazy ninja way. Yeah. And then something else happened, something bothersome...
I snapped alot of other interesting pics too... different people and things I saw around where we, the Konoha Delegation are staying.
I have to go to sleep now, or else I'll be sleeping through my match. Wish me luck, if that's not too bothersome for you all. This is bothersome for me, but good luck everyone.
