oompa, loompa....
Wow. There are so many good movies out this summer! It is a drastic change from last summers blockbuster failures. I think it has to do with the NHL lockout. It was a "what's to come" reminder of the hell year I was forced to endure because I couldn't watch hockey. Now, with the lockout ended, this summers movies are just great! Fantastic Four, Batman Begins, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and lots others are movies that are, so far, successful (or predicted to be hits).
This summer also plays host to the newest of the Harry Potter books. I was introduced to the series when my brother was given the first of the books (actually the first two). I read the first one day out of boredom and I was hooked. the plot is exciting and the characters unique. I am actually a tad excited for the Half Blood Prince to come out.
I have also been host to a new fad in my circle: Gauntlet! Eric and I have played the game for 4 straight nights and I have found that unnecessary violence is just what I need to relax. Also I found that the game is pretty easy. I push the A button and run around killing things. Nifty!
Than ought to do it for now. I'll probably try to update again later tonight at work. I usually have nothing better to do. Take care and Mahalo!
