...to go see VNV Nation. They are remarkable craftsmen (can you call a musian a craftperson?), and they are comfortable being close to their audience, which was a surprise. Smaller venues make for a more rewarding experience. I saw Tears for Fears in the Worcester Centrum. Yuck. Saw the Ramones up close and personal in a tiny gym - much better. Although some people are so electric that it hardly matters - Annabella Lwin (Bow Wow Wow) felt like she was jumping up and down right in front of me. ..
