Well I have noticed that everyone has put in their "two cents" as it were, so I decided to put in mine. :-)

First the draft. The draft while fully possible would be a great great problem in this country. Bush stated in one of the debates that I watched "the military will be an all VOLUNTARY military" on this note the democrats are actually the ones who are currently passing this bill through congress now. Because of the outcome of this years election republican hold the majority in the senate. If they do follow their commander in cheif/leader of their party the bill shouldn't pass.

On abortion, Bush voted against abortion except in the cases where a woman was raped, if incest occurs or if a womans life is endanger. Now it is my belief that abortion is murder. Yes murder. Currently there are cases on trail now where a person get tried of two murders (a pregnant woman and her baby) If that is a double murder why is abortion not murder. Its not a child's fault that he/she was brought into this world, why should he/she pay for it with his/her life?

On gay marriage. Let me set one things strait. Im not against the happiness of others, i believe that people should be happy. I am not opposed to a gay civil union, but it is my belief that the sanctity of marriage should be upheld. I understand that the ballot passed would stop civil unions, but if they were to attempt to pass a bill that allowed gays civil unions i would pass it. It upsets me that some people think that I am ignorant and full of hate because I will not allow to gay people to be married. In this country they preach of tolerance, and I am tolerant, but that doesnt not mean by any circumstance that I have to accept anything I dont believe in. That is my God given right. And talk about separation of church and state if this were to pass then preachers around this country would have to marry gays regardless of their own beliefs, because that would be discrimination and we cant have that.

And Bush did win probably beacause of morals. And of God. Regardless if you want to believe it or not, God was a HUGE part of the founding of this country. The members who signed the declaration of independence prayed before they signed it, the pledge of allegiance has God in it. And I will no way feel bad for those people who are upset because God won this country over. Its not my fault that the majority of American share a belief and choose to stay together and vote together because of it. Thats the way it is here, if you believe that this country is so unfair and stupid and cares nothing about the rights of its people LEAVE.

Thats my "two cents", most of this was brought on by people at my school. lol GO WAYNE!
