So Spouse is smug again. :)
He grabbed breakfast on the way to work without me this morning. The girl working the window was the one I've seen exactly twice who maybe, arguably, sort of flirts openly with me despite the fact that I'm likely twice her age and wildly unattractive. Bless her.
She said she was so sorry to miss me, and asked Spouse to tell his girlfriend, "hello."
He is the happiest man in our zip code.
