HA! After minutes upon minutes of toil and fruitless battle...my foe is vanquished. Actually, I hit it with a towel, and it was stunned, so I went to grab it and throw it outside, but it flew up and I grabbed it in my hand. That sorta ended it for the fly. So I had to wash my hand, but it's done.
I guess I can't say I wouldn't hurt a fly anymore.
