SO... i have this crazy idea of going to bangkok to study thai for 6 weeks (since i'm unemployed as of now..)

if i do try to realise this idea, do you have any clue how to go about renting a place for 6 weeks for cheap? so far my option is to stay at a 6-person dorm along Silom near some BTS for US$8/night...

i was initially thinking of next week.. haha.. but that may be too soon for me to get prepared.. additionally, i think it may be better for me to get myself a job first, and then negotiate to start 2 months later instead of immediately so i can do this...

so i guess it depends on when i land myself a job. either may or jun, i'm guessing..

i asked around and people say u can't really beat that price if u're staying in the city. still we all agree u should prob not commit and check it out first when u get here coz a lot of cheap places in the city are un-liveable.

i've actually lived at that place before.. i guess the only bad thing about it is the lack of privacy... it's 6 people to a room, you see. but blah. it's only going to be a few weeks..
