Arashi WakuWaku Gakkou on 30 June
I have just arrived in Japan. And I attended Arashi WakuWaku Gakkou at 17 on 30 Jun at Tokyo Dome.
It was my second year at WakuWaku School of Arashi.
As they didn't use arena area, my seat at gate 23 was not so bad.
1st lesson by Nino: SuyaSuya about sleep
Nino diagnosed MatsuJun’s dream case. He created the same MatsuJun’s bed as it was at his home on the stage. MatsuJun lay on the bed. He demonstrated his usual sleeping position; lying on his back and on his side with a holding pillow(*´ｪ｀*) He seemed very careful of selecting an ideal mattress and pillow. So he got the best mark, 100 compared with Ohno’s 50 something the previous show. Even the highest mark, he had a penalty game. While he was lying on the bed, it was sliding to the ground.
Nino wanted a dream experiment with us to have a dream about one of Arashi members. Oh-chan was picked up. We were handed a card with smell of peach at the door. While we smelled a card, we watched Oh-chan posing in front of a beach picture. Sho was picked up the previous show. And 31% of the audience dreamde about Sho. I set my card near my pillow and tried to dream about Oh-chan but I had no dream at all(ﾉω･、)
2nd lesson by Sho: CharinCharin about money
We had money quizzes; which one is more expensive such as a basket ball and volley ball. During the quiz, Sho said his famous Kazoku Game dialogue ‘iine~’( ´艸｀) It was about money so Nino looked very lively.
Sho suggested Japanese Yen ‘円’ looked like people eclapping of hands. We watched a video tape that showed how many people involved creating a pencil which costed about \100. He proved \100 meant 100 claps.
3rd lesson by Aiba: PakuPaku about seasonable vegetables
He cooked Summer vegetable curry on the stage. Nino was his assistant but he was slow to cut vegetables, the pan was too hot which started smoking. All members said it was so delicious. We watched a video where Aiba went to some places to collect seasonable vegetables. Aiba’s lesson was that eat seasonable food and feel season.
4th lesson by MatsuJun: ChikuTaku about time
As he proved the importance of time, he asked 3 members to run with all their best and 1 member to run without his best. The drew lots and Nino was chosen to run without his best. They run a race for 1 minute. Naturally Nino was the last. And MatsuJun suggested that if it continued in 10 year , 20 years… , it would be a big difference. So enjoy this time right now.
He wrote a letter 10 years ago for himself. Nino offered him to read. Actually what he dreamt 10 years ago was almost completed, especially Arashi’s activity right now. He chose Sho to create a video letter for Sho himself in 10 years time. Sho was embarrassed but at the end he said he wanted to watch that video at Tokyo Dome with Arashi members and fans.
5th lesson by Oh-chan: WaiWai about mate
Oh-chan made a video that showed his image about each members; Nino→posing his best face, Sho→tanktop, MatsuJun→stripping, Aba→sweat. And he hided and surprised each members to see their different reaction. What he wanted to show was that Arashi had individual characters. Arashi was suddenly created as a group but time made them a precious group.
He devided us into 5 section with 5 members. Each of us were asked to do different rhythm of clap. I was with Sho. We all clapped our hands together and then sang A・RA・SHI.
As it was the last day at Tokyo dome they had 3 big announcements.
Ara Fes on 21 & 22 Sep at Kokuritsu. They would accept song requests, each 10 songs from singles, albums and coupling tracks.
They will release a new album sometime in autumn.
They will have a album dome tour in 5 cities.
At the end we sang a school song. Then Arashi rode a truck to say good-by to us.
