I have spent the last week in jury duty (and am not yet done). I may write about it a bit when it is all over; it has been an inconvenient and yet powerful experience. eeee! reading that excerpt makes me quite eager for Throne of Jade; hopefully my preordered copy will arrive quickly.

I agree, the cover for the UK version is magnificent - it makes me quite happy to know that my copy is pre-ordered and I'll have it to enjoy this summer.

Wow. That's lovely cover art. I can't wait for it to come out.

Though it should probably be noted that my desire to own the hardcover editions does not at all lessen my "instant gratification takes too long" mindset in any way, which means I'm still buying the full paperback series, too.

Expect to be cornered in August and pestered into autographing my copy of Temeraire. *g*
