We went to Whyte Ave for a bit last night. We got pulled over by the police on Jasper Ave and 116th. I was drunk but not driving. Shawn was sober but he didn't put his seatbelt on!!! DOH. Luckily the cops didn't give him a ticket, just a warning, and told us to stay away from Whyte Avenue. Yeah. Right.
So we parked my car by the hizzouse (Brow, Wayne, and Jake's place) and walked up the Ave to check out the festivities. Beer bottle breaking, boobies, and fights everywhere. I filmed tons of stuff. It's a little scary there after a while. I see these young kids causing trouble, and I see it has nothing to do with team pride, and everything to do with an excuse to get rowdy and party and be disrepectful to others. Some seem like they are really just cheering on the Oil, but some are stupid retards who want to break stuff. Otherwise they'd be content to party anywhere, and stay off the signs and buildings. Attention whores.
We ended up back at Rosario's like always. Had a good time there like always. I unfortunately smoked 2 cigarettes last night. But I forgive myself. I'll be ok. Not starting up again, just slipped up.
At work today, the exhaust system and cooling unit in the kitchen broke down. There was smoke from the grill everywhere, and it was around 50 degrees back there. The smoke was burning our eyes and lungs, and we wanted to pass out or vomit or something. We shut the restaurant down eventually when cooking became unbearable. I am pretty pissed at the area managers for not deciding to shut down earlier. That was really ignorant of them. It was inhumane working conditions, especially for the cooks.
And I am pissed because I only made $5 today. I am REALLY broke. So I don't know how possible this weekend Vegas trip is if I am this broke. We'll see how the weekend goes. It's a long weekend, so maybe we'll be busy? I hope so.
