Fanart - Emily Fitch 4x02
Hi Guys
So, I'm really new to this community and I've never posted here before...or anywhere really, so this is a first for me. Anyway, I recently did some artwork that I wanted to share with people who might like it.
This is a picture of a linocut print of Emily that I finished recently. I think this print is actually the third print that I pulled? I can't remember. Anyway, it's based on the last scene in series 4 episode 2. The only weird thing about it is that the image is flipped, since a linocut is kind of like a stamp. So, yeah, if you look at the plate that I cut, the image would look like what you would see on screen, but when it's printed it's flipped. If anyone is interested, I can also post a picture of the plate. The plate/print is about 6X12 in.
Anyhoo...
I just really thought, that even though this scene was incredibly sad, that there was something really beautiful about it. I was just really inspired to incorporate this somehow into something that I was working on. I was really happy with how it turned out. I hope you guys enjoy it as well.
