Some Good News and Some Bad News

Sep 12, 2010 12:24

Let’s see… I guess I’ll start with the bad news ‘cuz then the good news’ll seem that much better! Maybe.

Well, dogs chewed the cable near my mother’s bedroom window which leads to the fax line so we need to get some new wire and a metal conduit to keep it safe because anything other than metal is just a chew toy for wolf jaws.

The photo-shoot for the fashion catalogue that I was supposed to do yesterday for $1,000 has been rescheduled due to the client being injured in a car accident and the coordinators wife having taken ill and been hospitalized.

My friend is still comatose and has been moved out of the nursing home she was in and back into a hospital because she started developing high fevers and bad seizures again. This is a major heartbreak to her family, especially because she was starting to show signs of improvement- less seizures, making facial expressions in response to hearing familiar voices enter the room, breathing on her own… But the ever persistent fevers suggest that the damage to her hypothalamus ( that’s the part of the brain that controls body temperature and involuntary body movements, btw) is worse than originally thought.

My Grandma was hospitalized again, though not to the ER or ICU this time. Her white blood cell count is high again and she still has pneumonia. Even though she is not in “critical” condition at the moment, this is extremely stressful on my Grandpa who not only holds himself responsible for her health and wellbeing (even if he is not at fault) but is unable to sleep without her by his side. The entire ordeal would be more bearable if someone would just gag those so-called “do-gooders” who keep throwing bibles in his face and talking like she’s a lame horse that needs to be put down. I swear, if those morons don’t shut their mouths soon I’m going to sodomize them with their precious holy scriptures.

For those of you that don’t watch or read the news, morons in New York City are building a Mosque (in layman’s terms, a church for Muslims) near Ground Zero ( that’s the memorial site for the World Trade Center and all the Americans murdered on 09/11/2001 by Terrorists, Muslim Extremists). I guess it’s a mouse trap sort of idea; This will help the people of NY identify their prey, because any Muslim stupid enough to go in this building is going to be dragged into the street and beaten to death by “patriotic” New Yorkers. Don’t give me that “freedom of religion” crap, you know as well as I do that’s what’s going to happen. It’s not the Mosque that’s the stupid idea, it’s the location. This has to be the equivalent of putting a Nazi Community Center smack dab in the middle of Israel. It’s just suicidal. However, politicians are afraid that relocating the building would trigger negative backlash from Muslim extremists. (of course it would, this Mosque is essentially a victory flag over their kill site.)

Then we have some religious prick in Florida who is planning on starting a new national holiday- “Burn the Quran Day!” (Quran is the Muslim bible essentially) Oh, moving a Mosque somewhere else where it’s patrons are safe from violent retaliation for crimes they didn’t commit will cause negative backlash, but holding a ridiculing celebration in which we burn their holy book in the name of purging all evil from the earth won’t? Good logic. Apparently Pentecostal Christians are superior to everyone else and have been appointed by god to destroy all other faiths which are created by the devil.

Can you imagine what a cold, dark place the world would be if people didn’t have “faith”?…. I dunno’ bout you, but cold and dark is starting to sound pretty damn good to me.

Okay, enough of the bad stuff. Hears the GOOD news!!!

Some guy named Shelby is going to call me either Monday or Tuesday because he is going to give “Kira,” the abandoned wolf-dog puppy wolverine and I rescued, a new home!

….. Um, yeah. That’s it.

Huh, that didn’t brighten things up as much as I’d hoped.

Here is Kira, the 8-10month old female wolf-dog that was abandoned at the dog park without food or water.

Before some guy caught her and locked her in the dog park, we think she may have wandered the streets a while, she is so thin and hungry!  But she has a friendly disposition.
