Upsiedownsies.
Went to Edmonton last Saturday to enjoy the fabulous weather (in complete contrast to the May Long weather) as well as some lovely shopping opportunities. The Stop & Shop crafters market was on where I was able to pick up a messanger style bag & a lovely hairstick and has the opportunity to oggle a wide variety of differeny neato things that I had no need/use for but were kinda cool all the same.
Stopped at the Strathcona Farmer's Market, which is loads better than the Edson Market in that it actually HAS vegetables that haven't been canned. I picked up some yummy buffalo sausage too. Vareity is such a lovely thing!
And finally the Panfest Society was having a Psychic Fair which was fun. Talked to three different psychics of varying talents. And while all three spoke of things that are true and mostly good only the one picked up on the actual question of my lovelife. So either the Universe thinks my career is more important right now or 2 of 3 psychics agree that my love life will continue to suck for the forseeable future. Sadly, if I stay here that is more than likely true. But then where there is a choice of 4000 odd males most of whom are either married/attached already or are underage it's kinda easy to see why it's hard to find someone. *eyeroll*
On a happy note, I finally received my Public Health Inspector's Certification this week. The later showed up yesterday & I was just bouncing off the walls the rest of the night!! It's been a year and a half of working & worrying to get this done. It's a wonderful feeling not to have to worry about it anymore. Now I have a few more options open to me in the field. I just have to wait a little longer to get a bit more experience so I can have to best pick of jobs. It'll be nice to be closer to a city again. I really miss having some kind of culture & entertainment available to check out.
