How does anyone know what day it is if the weather never changes? It was sunny on New Years, and it's sunny now. It must have taken you foreigners a long time to make a system to to make up for not having distinct seasons. I wonder if you even know what snow looks like ( Read more... )

I strongly suspect most of what's here is illusory.

But that doesn't stop much of Europe and North America from having seasons, since they share a latitude with Japan.

Places that are the same distance from the equator tend to have similar climates, moderated by topography, proximity to the ocean, and the prevailing high-atmosphere airflow patterns.
