A Quiet Weekend.

I am reading a great book about a yellow lab. It's called, Marley and Me,
Life and Love with the Worst Dog in the World, by John Grogan.
I found it on my audio book web site and downloaded it. The book is read by the author, and was recommended to me by someone in the lobby of my cardiologist's building, after they noticed Emma.
The book really captures the personality of the yellow lab.
Yesterday, I caught up on some reading, writing, resting, and later joined friends for the final episode of the West Wing series.
Then, we watched the most recent episode of Lost, and read more of the Da Vinci Code.

My primary care doctor phoned me with the results of my kolesterall test. My LDL, the bad kolesterall, is at 118, which isn't bad, but they want it to be at seventy for anyone with coronary artery disease. She is writing a letter to my cardiologist, and is increasing my Zocor from ten miligrams to forty.
Then I am supposed to be re-tested in a month.

Today, I slept in, and plan to play some poker in a tournament, despite my late start, and then join my classmates on line for chat, before the second race of the Tripple Crown this afternoon, where I hope my Derby winner is victorious a second time.
