so um i seem to have hit 50 k now. like today.
Or in more hysterical terms:
AHHH GOAL WHAT'S THAT YOU HEAR IT'S THE SOUND OF THE NEW FLAVA IN YAH EAR
or in calmer terms and more coherant words: I just wrote 50 k words in eight days.

Long story short (HAH): I hit the goal at six p.m. today, after writing 10 k words in 18 or so hours. I proceeded to request the highest of the fives from my sister, squeal at my brother, and tell anyone I could over IM. The longer story is here at DW.
So. That's where we are. I wrote 50k words. In 8 days. So, uh, should I aim for 100k? cause the story's maybe 1/4th done. Maybe an 8th. Tell you what. I'll aim for a high of 80 k by the end of the month, with total completion of the book by the end of December and ready for the go back and edit by inauguration day.
This unemployment is doing me some good.
