I'm done!
50,873 words! I can't believe it...really thought I wasn't going to make it this year, with a couple of crises, a week-long visit to family, and lots of work-related stuff happening. I missed eight days of writing entirely and wrote well under the wordcount for six more, and was almost ten thousand words behind until a couple of days ago! :D
My novella was finished at about 48,000 words, so I wrote a short story expanding on the history of one of the minor characters. Might integrate it, might leave it as a standalone.
