And to think I was about 5000 words behind when Thanksgiving break began. That's why American holidays devoted to eating are awesome. You can write in the time between enormous meals.
Anyway the novel itself isn't done (I need another dramatic confrontation and a literally explosive finale) but I'm really excited about the progress I've made. Unfortunately grad school applications will keep me from editing for awhile but I hope that someday it'll be nice and readable (the rough draft is available online through a tumblr blog, but like any nano it's pretty rough). And come next November, it's time for the sequel!
Anyway I found this community an amazing resource, between the AIM chats and the daily inspirations and everything, even if I didn't comment much. So thank you everyone for being awesome! I hope to see everyone next year.
