Oh God...that make Cougari 70 in cat years! 0___0 Old faht! ^_^
Don't worry, the financial pressure will let up slightly when Jan-Feb's over...these two months seem to be the stereotypical "tight money months", being right after the holidays and all.
I'm glad that you're caring about your health. I'll tell you that there was a time where I was very depressed, unemployed, and unmotivated...THAT was a big reason for my wieght gain. At this time last year I was around 170-75 lbs at 5'6"...not too bad, but for me pretty heavy, and unfomfortable. I now, a year later, hover around 140-45 lbs. *glee* And it was surprisingly easy.
One reason was my change of lifestyle, work in particular. My workplace is about a mile away, and my car died this past spring, so I had to quickly adjust to hoofing it. I have to admit that since I started walking everywhere, I've felt better. I can breath easy, and not get tired. -I recommend talking a strenuous walk everyday for atleast 30 mins or more. -Or if you have a bike, ride a bike for around an hours, or more if you loikes! -Also cutting down on how much you eat. For instance, no second helpings and eat slowly (you will feel full faster). -It's not what you eat, it's how much (in my oppinion, but I'm not doctor). I still eat candy-bars...just not one everyday. I have one maybe twice-three times a week. Same with soda...don't cut out soda, just cut down. (This I am pretty bad at!) -I am hypoglycemic, so I NEED sugar. The best way for me to regulate my sugar intake is to have a glass of orange juice right when I get up in the morning...that way my blood sugar will stay regular and I won't start FEINDING for sugar until maybe 2 PM or so. So yes...JUICE and GATORADE...good soda substitutes...they have VITAMINS! -Plus, always make sure you have things in your life that make you happy. For instance...your drawing. That is a wonderful outlet...and you'll always have that talent. If something in your life isn't making you happy, seek help if you need to. Fill your life with positive things...then it will outway the negative.
---eeee I've gotta leave! I hope these tips help you a bit! -Betsy
