Did the MS Bike Ride today. monsoon downpour rains at 7am, which made for a very soggy girl the rest of the day. However, the ride was great, especially zipping through the tunnel to NJ. the first mile is on a decline, and I hit 30mph, then the second mile is an incline, so the momentum was nice to have on my side.
It was the last big ride of the season for me. will still do central park, etc on the weekends.
no mechanicals today, which was nice. repairs slow ya' down more than you realize.
back to work on this IRB application, then my timesheets for the week, then bed with book. Reading this complete guilty pleasure called I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell, by Tucker Max. Just absurd frat stories, but fun. Balances out all the journal articles i have to read for school.
