Wow, thanks for the kind words! This chapter was actually really difficult to write; I really struggled with making Dean's decision for him, because I love the relationship he has (or could potentially have, in canon) with Ben. I might have cried a little bit.

I was soooo happy to see this chapter posted! *Twirls!* Dean is going through so much anguish and the confusion is overwhelming! Poor Cas!!! I feel so bad for Ben as well as he sees Dean leaving. I so want Dean and Cas to be together and for both to be honest with one another! I can't wait for your next chapter! :D

Ah! This was a great look into Dean's headspace. It makes sense that the reason he doesn't deal well with emotions is because he is just that emotional.

The conversation with Ben was something that Dean needed to do because quite frankly he was fooling himself. Dean was not made for this life and it shows.

It's a hard realization for him but it's the truth.
