This...is interesting. :)
I kinda really want to hug Dean. He's lonely and I don't blame him at all looking for a bit of companionship from someone else than Cas, when the angel cannot seem to, well I wouldn't say get a clue, but yeah. You know what I mean...
Anyways. I really like the fact that this story can make me make a frowny-face over Cas. Usually authors write the stories the other way around concerning Dean.

As always I'm looking forward to more updates from you :)

Yeah, I agree, Dean is usually the one fucking things up lol. I wanted to concentrate on our boy and speculate on how a normal life might work out for him, with some good, old-fashioned sexuality crisis thrown in.

Thanks for reading! I hope to have the next chapter up soonish. :)

Ah! I feel so bad for Dean. He's clearly lost and lonely and still trying to figure out what he wants in life. And the one person who could usually ask for advice is too busy to notice.

I mean you can't really blame Cas but at the same time it kinda makes you wonder if he's really paying attention to Dean anymore.

Still, I look forward to seeing where this goes. It looks like quite a fun ride.

I'm just flattered that someone wrote a story set in my hometown. ;)

But seriously, I like the angle here. Can't wait for more!

Dude, in that case you just signed yourself up for some future fact-checking! :D

I have a friend who lived in Portland for a very long time, just not recently. So a) if you catch me spouting off about anything that is just WRONG, please let me know and b) if I have any questions, would you mind me PM-ing you just to be sure?

Thanks for reading, in the meantime! ♥

Hey, no problem. :) I'd be happy to fact-check for you, and feel free to ask me questions.

I'll try not to bug you for updates. ;)

No, nagging is good. It helps me to remember that there's more to fiction writing than my own cycle of procrastination. :D

Tell your roommmate I'm not above giving out free back massages for new fans. :)

For me, I think I just hate to write the characters turning into non-people, which I think is something that Cas quite often falls victim to in fandom. That's actually why I was so apprehensive of S6, too, because I thought for sure that the writers would just set him a million steps back and have him doing the same old one-note song and dance. I'm glad to see that we're getting some depth from him in the show, so I wouldn't want to mess with that by portraying negative character development. Plus, I'm always a fan of stories where Cas starts to discover his humanity, so I thought I'd write more along that vein.

We'll see how Kurt holds up to him. I'm a little nervous on that count, because I don't want writers to dislike him just by virtue of being "the competition". I'm a little infatuated with him, myself. ♥

I don't know how I missed this comment... sorry for being a dolt about responding. :\

It makes me really happy that you're on Kurt's side. I'm on Cas's side too, obviously, just not at the moment... He has his moments of being what Dean needs, but we aren't even getting much of that in canon these days and it kind of breaks my heart that Dean never gets to have someone who is perfect and just for him. I think Cas is interesting *because* he isn't perfect, but it's also kind of a nice departure to write about a normal dude like Kurt, who you'd presumably want to spend Sunday mornings in bed with and take home to your mum. If things work out the way I hope, some of those qualities will rub off on Cas and get him to stop being such a clueless knob (though I suppose he and Dean are entitled to take turns).

I'm also touched that you have so much faith in my writing lol. You're like the Cas to my Dean! ♥♥♥
