There's roughly a week and a half left before NaNo starts. Let the panic begin! :)
You might not be able to start writing yet, but you can plan to your heart's content. Comment and let us know:
1) Who is your main character?
2) What is the setting of your story?
3) What's the general plot?
and, just for fun...
4) Who is the first person your character will speak with?
(Now would also be a good time to make sure you're all signed up with NaNo and have your settings taken care of.)
