I don't seem to be getting closer to being back on track D: Still in the midst of a major art slump (although I got a mini CG thing that the colouring came out well on, which made me happy) and BA is especially annoying during art slumps. On the plus, I'm breaking from my usual pattern and posting five pages instead of four. OooOoOoOo

About the magic effect, why not just having magical sparks only when they are too much apaprt? That said, you depict very well the skidding movement when Sevvie is tracted by the speel!

I think you do a good job of visually indicating that there's something going on magic-wise with the girls (the little whooshy lines work for me..subtle enough but still obvious)

haha I love antagonistic-y buddy quests. They are the best! :D

Also Ooooo purple hair and plays the violin. Very nice! Shame we won't see him though :C

I think some kind of magic 'effect' would be good to illustrate the magic working in keeping them together. Kineko's point on that is very good, I think.

This is really rolling along nicely.
