Aaaand I will need to add a new page to the count (way to go Kin, you're going to confuse yourself with page count. Again -_-). Ho well, I will be able to detail more Sunday's life at Sidonie's.
As a note, trying to find reference for the inside of a city house in Louisiana in the 19th is harder than I thought. I was tempted to look at the "Little house on the prairie" sitcom for reference. (Seriously, I watched that show when I was ten, I'm not even sure it's still rerun in France... I wouldn't be surprised thought... it was still airing five years ago)
Panel 6
Girl: MADAM! Bruno is taking bread again!
Bruno: tattle-tale!
Sidonie: come on, no screaming at breakfast!
Older girl: Say "ha"
Little girl: Ha
Boy: Madame Sidonie, someone's knocking, should I...
Sidonie: No, I'm going sweety.
Panel 7:
Sidonie: Hello, what...
Panel 1:
Sidonie: Padrig?!
Pif: Hello Sidonie.
Panel 2:
Bruno: where is your nose?
Sidonie: Bruno!
Pif: the nose snatcher bogeyman stole is to eat it because it was dirty.
Panel 3
Sidonie: So.. she is an orphan?
Pif: Her parents died before her eyes in an... accident...
Panel 4:
Pif: I don't know if she will overcome the shock one day, but she should never come back to the Bayou.
Panel 5:
Sidonie: Padrig, are you sure? You seem... very attached to her...
Panel 6:
Pif: She will be safe here.
