I think wonky backgrounds add character! It actually holds together pretty well in terms of the overall page and style!

I love perspective, but I'm too lazy to ever do the actual measuring and such. I always freehand it...

Aww geez, you overestimate me... But thank you! ;) I think it's easiest to learn perspective by measuring, but then when you're actually drawing stuff, it gets super tedious to whip out the ruler for everything...
