the moon flower [TL;DR] [ p6 - 10 ] + extra
HELLO WORLD.
Here are pages 6-10 plus a few illustrations I did in the middle of working on the pages. I'm trying to do my best to keep up, go self, go! I'm sorry I haven't commented to many individual comics, but you guys are all fantastic! I'm going to try to do so because this stuff is super hard and we all deserve a good congratulations! Go guys, go!
Anyway, stuff.
Note: I switched the type of paper I was using after page six, even with comic guidelines I still can't draw a straight line. Drawing while half asleep is probably a very bad idea. I use sepia-toned pens and it really shows up on the new paper, so I'm sorry for the lack of consistency.
Also! I totally forgot, but these are the characters :
Samantha [14] : A princess knight in training, is currently Oksana's knight. She's very quiet but also very hardworking. Main character. Had an older brother who was the exact-opposite of her. She has no magic ability, but this also means she's unaffected by magic.
Oksana [15] : A royal guest to the kingdom of Helena, she's considered a princess-like figure. She's on a mission to find a fever-reducer for her mother, who is struck with illness. Very friendly, is the healer of the group.
Edel [17] : An alchemy-student with zero people-skills; he was Samantha's brother's classmate and friend. Had a rough few years with her brother, but now that he's missing Edel has become a sort of shut-in. He is forced to take on Oksana and Samantha as clients or else he'll continue his academic probation. Loves plants and is afraid of magic.
Nirinel [15] : A witch-in-training who has an obsession with dragons (they do not exist in this world). Very quirky, wants to make friends. She lives in the outskirts of the wayward village with her two teachers, is considered a prodigy in magic. Her main ability is water-type magic, charms, and ghost wards. She has no filters when it comes to people, she shamelessly treats everyone like family (unless it's this dude.)
